We look for students in engineering and flight sciences disciplines who want to contribute to meaningful work in aviation, develop professional skillsets, and create with like-minded individuals. Top candidates are self-motivated, think independently, have a passion for aviation, and are eager to take on new and unfamiliar challenges. Teamed alongside highly experienced aircraft designers, builders, and testers, our interns have access to numerous technical resources and are fully engaged in our company culture.
Knowing that every intern brings their own specialties and experiences, Scaled endeavors to build an internship that works with an intern’s background and challenges them to expand their abilities. Our previous interns have had opportunities within active Scaled programs to build & flight test RC aircraft, take lead on load test articles for flying hardware, support flight mission planning, and many other responsibilities in the process of designing, building, and/or testing one of a kind aircraft!
Our paid internship program lasts between 10-12 weeks over the summer months. The Summer 2027 Intern application period is now open and will close on October 16th - applications will be reviewed from that point forward. Please apply through our Career Center.
