Working with a variety of materials to build our structures means there are opportunities to test and validate theories. Having a material lab on campus allows us to qualify materials and processes to meet specified requirements in a timely manner.
In addition to any testing required for new process development, our M&P team supports program level testing. By instrumenting and testing structural joints, major sub-assemblies, or entire vehicles, we gather informative data that often reduces risk.
We are capable of conducting a wide variety of tests, including: tensile, compression, shear, environmental, vibration, chemical composition, failure analysis, and much more.
