Payload Testing

Not every research initiative requires a vehicle to be designed and built for it, although we do enjoy those challenges. We have several platforms available to integrate payloads, and, if the requirements demand it, will work to identify, procure, and operate off-the-shelf solutions.

Because our various design, build, and test capabilities are all in-house, we can easily provide new structures to house payloads, work to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware interfaces, and run ground tests to ensure systems function before we get in the air.

We routinely build pods that require capabilities such as: pressurization, environmental control, instrumentation, movable surfaces, and more. From sensors and cameras to radars and radios, our experience with flying low technology readiness level experimental payloads is extensive.

Test platforms that can be utilized for research and development in support of our customers projects are outlined below.
